Uji Aktivitas Ekstrak Akar Nipah (Nypa fruticans) Sebagai Antimikroba Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 Dan Candida albicans ATCC 10231

<p><em>Nipah fruticans </em>adalah sejenis palem yang mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder berpotensi memiliki berbagai efek biologis, seperti antibakteri dan antijamur. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis ekstrak akar nipah dapat menghambat pertumbuhan <em>Staphylococcus aureus</em> ATCC 25933<em> jamur</em><strong><em> </em></strong><em>Candida albicans</em> 10231<em>. </em>Akar diekstraksi dengan metode maserasi dalam pelarut etanol 96%. Skrining fitokimia dilakukan untuk mengindentifikasi sekunder. Uji mikroba Difusi Agar konsenterasi 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%. Kontrol positif uji adalah klindamisin ketokonazol antijamur.<em> </em>Hasil penelitian yaitu adanya berupa flavonoid, alkaloid, saponin, steroid, terpenoid. Diameter hambat pada bakteri terdapat 100%, sedangkan jamur, tidak ditemukan daya hambat.<em></em></p>
